Trains depart to North, East and South so best bet is to choose destination on Amtrak site. A train to Chicago for example makes a lot of stops along the way.
It also has the cascades which is every day from Portland to Vancouver B.C. and if I remember correctly they have 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening and those are also on the Amtrak website and the tickets are very reasonable
