I don't think they meant to insult you. I thi k that she was likely trying to let you know she's not used to it. I've never had anything but great service and my husband is handicapped.
I don't think it's a "don't like" as it may seem, but more of communication problem, and when you are wanting the best service for your customer, getting it right the first time, lowers the stress on both sides.
