It is open, they even have a big event coming up June 29th 9-4 rain or shine with artist, food, wine and more!
They still give tours. It stopped operating for it's original purpose because there weren't enough new people joining. The members of the cloister chose to remain single and celibate, so they depended on having new people join in order to sustain their population.
They were celibate. No future generations to continue the order.
Hours are Monday-Saturday 9 am til 5 pm and Sunday 12 noon til 5 pm.
