I took a fare for like 27 dollars and my bank charged me $50, the driver wasnt able to get a receipt for the transaction but I showed him my bank statement. Dispatcher could'nt find the transaction in their system, so will I be reinburst?

Unfortunately this was my first in this type of situation, so no I can't provide any of the info, never crossed my mind. So I'm going to take my risk and hope the dispatcher is right when she mentioned the bank will cancel the transaction, and reinburst me since I paid the driver in cash afterwards, sounds scandalous...
