Camano will become a reservation park in May 2019. You can make you late spring and summer reservations now on the Washington State Park website.
No not for Camping. You gotta go and see which spots are open for now that won't change till probably next year. But I believe cabins you can.
Yes you can call them. For regular camping its first come first serve. As stated above. Group sites need reservations. All Cabins need reservations. Lots of Cabins are open during weekdays,peaceful. I live 5 miles from this place !
The cabins, group camp and shelter by the beach are the only things that are reservable
