I like many of you dread visits to DMV offices in any state. Well my visit to register and change the title of a new to me motorhome could not have gone any smoother. I am usually close to the first in line to complain about government services, not in this case. The young man did a stellar job of the required paperwork and even was polite enough to chuckle at my attempt at humor. This experience put me in such a good mood that scratching out a check for over $4,000 didn’t even faze me. Well maybe a little bit.

Went to Camano Island Licensing to switch an out of State title. The computer was trying to charge me an extra fee for not registering the vehicle within 90 days of purchase. This fee is not applicable for out of state transfers. The staff worked hard on overriding their system to ensure I didn't have to pay it. Great Service!

The ladies here were wonderful, don’t know why other people say otherwise. Maybe you went on a bad day? Anyways their unch is 12:30-1:30 M-F and they have it posted on the door so just note that they are closed that full hour. I had a pleasant experience and will be going back.

Looking at previous reviews, rude seems to be a theme with the ladies that work there. My boyfriend attempted to pick up my tabs after I had renewed them online. The lady behind the counter told him it was Washington state law that he could not. Odd because he has been picking up my tabs for the past 7 years. She asked him for MY license not his. Looking it up at home, if we share the same last name or address he is legally able to pick them up. Again, we have shared the same address for 7 years. When I came to pick up the tabs myself and asked about the situation, she became defensive and lied outright. Stating that she asked him for his license and he didn’t have it which is a downright lie. He drove to the licensing department and has his license in his wallet. Anyway, she was disrespectful and rude. Quite a shocking experience.

Nope. In Washington State, the auto license agents are private companies and driver's licenses are handled by the state. The two near offices are in Smokey Point and Mt Vernon
This location does provide notary service but not on a daily basis. Make sure to call ahead to see if the notary will be there when your require notary services.
No. They are only vehicle and vessel licensing
