Island County Parks Tillicum Beach

This is just a tiny gap in the row of houses that gives you access to the beach. It’s a great spot to put in your kayak. No signs designating the park. Room for only about 4 cars.

Island County does not maintain this 30 feet of beach. No parking, no trashcan, no signs, private beaches on either side. There was a picnic table and trashcan years ago but the county pulled them out about 10 years ago.

I live just minutes from here. I love it. To get to the small pee soft rock beach, you may need to climb over the many drift logs that serves as a great place to sip on a coffee or tea in the quiet morning or evening and peer across the bay and pounder your thoughts or the peaceful world that's hard to find.

Limited parking. Rocky beach. Looks like the locals removed all of the county park signs so obviously they aren't very welcoming. But it is very quiet.
