Its actually really normal for state parks to be nature oriented instead of having man-made, garbage looking kid playgrounds that mar the natural beauty we have in the Pacific Northwest.
I personally prefer parks without play equipment. There are plenty of community parks and playgrounds.
There is a boat launch so you can access the lake. It's a reclaimed old farming land. There are meadows and even a hiking trail for people to enjoy nature and help preserve it. No I don't find anything odd about the arrangement. I have found it to be a wonderful place to find peace and tranquility. It's perfect for my dogs and my son has learned a lot about watching and listening for nature. I feel it's a wonderful place just the way it is. Best discovery ever made when living in Mason county
Yes your right about the park being beautiful I've thought so the past 7 years that I have lived with my acre of land set against the park I live across the street from the actual Park where the people walk through the trails it's a nice part all that night when people are out there that shouldn't be otherwise it is very beautiful part yes and it used to be actually a milk farm two brothers own it thank you for your information I appreciate it have a great day. All I was saying was that it would be nice for the kids to have some toys to play on it's a very big Park and there's plenty of room for it but I guess that would cost Mason County money and we really don't want to change the land I know I don't want to see the land change I like the Privacy I have with 50 acres of the State Park in my backyard once again thank you have a great day
Never been there! Its so close to were I live. Will defiantly go there😁 Thanx for all the info
