Hi! Sorry it took so long to get back to you. The shelter I went to in Lynnwood is actually a separate shelter from the Wildlife Center. It is a small building, behind the Wildlife Center building. I used an online site called AdoptAPet.com, which presents pets for adoption from a lot of the shelters including the Humane Society. I found the PAWS staff very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I explained my situation (disabled Navy veteran). I am 70. We talked about everything. I shared what I could afford, and we were able to work everything out. I was introduced to the cat I chose from the website. We hit it off, and I took her home. They also have a shelter in Seattle. Good luck!
