I can’t believe how nice everyone who works here is! I was dreading going in because normally people aren’t very nice at these facilities, or at least that’s what I’ve always heard. The security guard was extremely friendly & helpful, & so were the two others who helped me with my application. Obviously I had to wait awhile & was there for about 2 hours (I’m sure that’s always to be expected without an appointment) but there were a lot of people waiting & even though they closed at 4 they were still letting people in line outside come inside around 3:45.

Great service. Needed quick service for a refi. Courteous, and caring. Was really impressed with everyone there. On line help not so good. Office visit in Lynnwood was great. Thanks to everyone there.

Absolutely fantastic service. Was on hold for only a few minutes, and Randy was extremely helpful. Great service, and very prompt indeed. Thanks Lynnwood SSA office!!

If I had a chance of putting no star I would first there calls will be picked up if your lucky after 45min to 1hr omg, then you will never be helped they give you wrong information and tell you to wait for her to send you a letter over something they can just help you on phone no help at all. The letter you are to receive will never be sent this has been the worst service ever received the lady at the ssn lynnwood office you are the worst

I would like to make an appointment to get a replacement card
How can i get an appointment to sign up for medicare?
To be safe bring a birth certificate and an ID
my mom I believe did that, if your marriage lasted ten years or more you have the choice to chose either your own benefit or your spouses, even if you had been divorced later. It would not effect the current spouse benefits either. So that is something I can imagine not many know that unless they were told. Go to the SS benefits page. I'm sure the info is there to confirm
I didn't make an appointment but didn't know that was an option. I would agree if you make an appt you'll probably cut the wait time!
Go to your near social security office or apply for a replacement car online.
If you have become disabled before turning 70 (1960 or later), go read the steps for filing SSD benefits on the govt ss benefit page. Those who are 63, born before 1960 qualify as grandfathered to file for SS benefits. Same thing. See the benefits page and follow the links. Remember if you file before 70, whether for disability benefits or grandfathered prior age requirements, the monthly benefits are less. I became disabled before 45, my penalty after working more than 30 years was 600 less per month. Doesn't matter if you are disabled through no fault of our own, the govt pockets the penalty. If I got that money owed in full, I wouldn't have to depend on the different charities or state food hand outs to eat!
No but it's good to start the process online
Or internet, or even walk in
Not yet. Should be open for public soon
Some applications you can't fill out on phone
I think for that also there are asking appointment so better to call before going
It's all online
Should be easy, but its hard to schedule an appointment due to covid if no proof or emergency, definitely give them a call
You can apply for a social security card online, they haven't opened the doors yet to the public, but it wont be much longer & it will be if you would prefer to go in person & talk to someone who can walk you through the steps. Online you will send for the paperwork to be mailed to you, it's pretty simple, short questions that you will fill out, like each of her natural born parents full names, there's a box you will check that asks if it is the 1st SS Card applied for. When you are finished filling out the paperwork you mail it back to them & they will then mail you her SS Card
My experience was if it can be done online or through the mail, they won't do in person appointment. I can't say whether your situation would warrant in person appointment. They wanted me to send my driver's license in to get a replacement social security card for my kid. I couldn't believe they wanted me to give up my driver's license for however long it took them to get it done and turn around and mail it back to me. Point is, that they are really trying not to do in person at all.
As of a couple weeks ago, they were not taking appointments in person unless it was super extreme circumstances. They wanted me to mail in my driver's license as proof of identity to get a replacement social security card for my child. Really? How am I going to drive without my license. What if I get pulled over? What if I need ID to buy age restricted items?
You need to call your local office to schedule phone appointments. The office's are currently closed due to Covid
It's been years since I worked for the government. I do believe you can request an evaluation when anything changes in your circumstances. Just make sure you have all the documentation requested.
The Lynnwood building is closed. It's better if you just call them instead.
Just bring your ID and a form of ID for ur child (school ID, US Passport, or Medical record with her full name and Birthdate), she does not need to be present.
Best to go early before it opens & get in line. You don't need an appointment unless you go on a real busy day.
I would ask your ssI representative
Not a website. Go in person and make a complain also report to department of health in your county, if you are in lynnwood then i think you refer to snohomosh health department and ask them to identify that person or not and provide that info to the SS office. Sp they can remove your medical ban. Also days can help you
The office in Lynnwood gets you in and out quickly
Probably not! You need to go to passport office. Mill creek has 1.
Can I will have as in same day
No but it helps in certain cases
No. They pay the following month for the month Prior. They pay in April for the month of May.
