Yes but I have heard that you don't want to let them drink or swim in the lake water. There is a parasite or bacteria in the water that makes them extremely ill. I'm just saying what I have heard. I have not actually seen a dog get sick first hand.
Yes. I take my dog there regularly and often meet other dogs there too. Often with families. But it is not "officially" an off leash dig park. I've been going there frequently with my dog for three years and it's never been an issue.
