It says the hatch must be lined up with the roof. I own a CRV so it sits up at least a foot from the roof.... if i lower it flush, it might as well be shut. Is there a way around this for hatches like mine?

Most of the time they will have you go to the sides of the theater, or you can simply turn your car around, lower your seat backs, and hang in the front/back seats.
