The imax screen is usually five stories high, digital 3d is a normal movie screen. Imax also runs in 16k quality. So there's 2d theatre's that offer two dimensional resolutions and there are 3d theatre's that do your 3D effects and resolution for movie folks. Imax is the latest tech that boasts high resolution with real 3d effects and image quality. In short, this is like immersive 3d, your paying for it but you totally won't forget it.
It's IMAX 3D which is better than the regular 3D.
