Yes it is! I have personally witnessed many, many different families. Mom and dad and a handful of kids. Both boys and girls are encouraged to participate, it is a ton of fun. Encourage asking questions from others drivers who are not racing at that time and you can get some great advice on what might work best for your particular rc. Plus the counter guys are really good with the young ones. Take the family and have some fun. Don't forget to bring a spare battery or 2 and your charger as there are outlets you can plug in to and recharge your batteries. Hope this helps.

Yessir that place is awsome for rc fun and parts. And the staff is usually very helpfull. And theres always kids around. Both my boys are in there regularly

For the practice sessions it should be fine. Talk with an employee when you get there.
