The city of Kent do not allow fireworks, but people do it anyways. It's left to your discretion of course. You can enjoy your party

U could. Not a lot of space or covered area and fireworks are illegal. If that's not an issue ur good.

I think so. When I was there, there were several small groups enjoying the day. I'm not sure how late it stays open, and it might be more crowded, but it is a lovely place to have a get together.
