Would this place be good fishing for kids if so what kind of fish species?

There are 3 fishing docks around Silver lake. One at the north, two along the east

There are 2 docks to fish off of. Rainbow trout..rock bass..yellow perch

Yellow Perch, Bass, Catfish, Blue Gill and Rainbow Trout are all found in the lake. I've also heard that the lake managers do a "kids fishing" event where they put some stocked trout in a pinned area and kids are allowed to fish it. Typically though the vast majority of people that fish here are willing to help and give tips to novice anglers so even beginners can catch something.
