Love that I has a baby & toddler area and an area for bigger kids. Will definitely take mine here more often. Needs more seats around the playground though for grandparents.

The OG park. The best The Greatest This is the park! This is the local park In my mind. This is the romanticized park that you and your friends would go to after school and trade ****ing baseball cards or whatever. The trail around the lake? Super cool and light. Go here sometime. Only complaint: Some dude a year ago put one of those christian fundie chick tracts near a bus stop. LOL. Had fun reading that.

I've lived in this area for a long time yet never knew this park existed as it's kind of off the beaten path. Beautiful beach for walking, lots of trees and covered areas, great playground, clean bathrooms and lots of room to walk or run around. My only complaint was that there are signs up saying no animals allowed ....even on the beach ....which I think is unfair as it is so big and spacious that there should not be any issues having dogs there.

Very nice park with a sandy beach front, kids playground, and a fun intermediate but beginner friendly golf course!

No cost. It's a Lake (Silver Lake) and a Park with swimming, limited boating, a playground a d wooded trails. They also have something called "Cinema Under The Stars" which is an outdoor movie on a giant screen. Most people bring towles/blankets to lay on the grass for this event. Fridays @ 7:30pm. 🙂
As far as I know, charcoal in designated areas is allowed. Go early as it fills up fast! 🍔🌭
yes it think
There isn't RV parking at the park, but there is a unpaved parking spot across the road that I've seen RVs park in overnight.
It's been open for a while. Not sure about bathrooms but playstructures, disc golf, parking, etc all open.
There is one covered area with several tables that can accommodate at least a couple small parties.
There is no official boat launch as there are no motor boats allowed on the lake. However car toppers can be launched along the southeast corner. There are docks that can also be fished off of. Hope this helps.
I don't know if they have shelters for reserve. It's a small park
No matter the timetable, when the sun sets, they close the park.
You only pay to reserve a place. All open areas welcome your party at all times.
They are only allowed on the trail around the lake but not in the actual swimming or kids play area on the west side. Even then they are supposed to be on a leash.
There are 3 fishing docks around Silver lake. One at the north, two along the east
No, try Willis Tucker Park. Their dog park is amazing!
The lake gets stocked with trout and they hold a fishing derby annually.
