Yes! It's part of my animal and nature therapy! I often go just by myself.... There's even a nature trail in the back. And if you don't bring a picnic there is now a snack bar with meals not just snacks. Enjoy!
Yes! I took my mom there and she had a great time! They definitely have a lot of options for kids but there was plenty for us to do even without. We rented a fishing pole and caught 3 fish (no catch and release). We also bought food buckets for $3 each and had a fun time feeding the animals. I would recommend bringing something to eat and a blanket and going off towards the side or back and having a picnic too. Though the random goats that walk around might make that difficult lol
