And if your family has an EBT card, all Tacoma museums are $2.00 for entire family any day they're open, even glass museum
You can also get a free pass through the library.
Every Third Thursday is free from 3:00-8:00 PM.
Become a member of Kings county library or Seattle public library then you can avail free museum pass.
I work for TPL and you can check out a pass for 7 days, one museum per library card. The pass will get two adults and up to four children into the museum. You don't even have to take it out of the case! If you don't have a library card you can obtain one by bringing in a valid photo ID and a piece of mail addressed to you in the last 30 consecutive calendar days. FAIR WARNING: The passes are available on a first come, first served basis and can be hard to come by during popular exhibits; you may have to travel to a different branch to find an in stock pass for check out. Also be sure not to lose them or forget to turn them in - your library account will have the replacement cost for an annual museum membership added to it. I believe PCLS has them as well but I'm not familiar with their policies.
