Now this place is not that big but it’s definitely fun and it’s cheap to get in. They have sections for children and the pool has that artificial wave thingy

Awesome service. On an overcast day, when there weren’t many patrons, we asked a lifeguard named Brody if he could take the wave machine to “9” (it normally runs at a 4-5; it’s up to the lifeguards, we have heard, how powerful the waves are). He cranked it, and the ground started shaking from the extra power going through the machine. We were able to actually surf on the waves, but my buddies Gomez and Chuey both broke their arms because the waves were so powerful they were ejected from the pool. So our advice is to go on a day when the weather is bad.

Love this pool but lifeguard are bully-like. Now beyond that It's prolly the best in Tacoma. I always bring my daughter here and her friends & family. We always have a great time. I would give 5 stars but there is one issue. Some of the lifeguards have very bad attitudes, not friendly at all. My daughter was given a bad look and a shake of the head for no reason she was just walking into the pool, both the guys and girls are very nasty when they tell u to not do something or stay of the rope. My nephew was having a hard time and was asking for help while in the water and no one paid attention just ignored him thank goodness his brother was close by and pulled him up and towards the entry of pool..the other staff is great and friendly. But lifeguard no, and for what reason I don't know.

Yep.. you sure can . No glass bottles
Yes.
Yes, but it seems to be open only when the pool is open which is noon to 5 in the summer. It can be accessed from both the pool area (a fee area) and the playground area (which is open to all). The pool is open some summer evenings as well, but I do not know if the concessions remain open that late. Concession stand sells hot dogs, ice cream, and a few other snacks.
Youth Ages 5-17 Full session (12pm-5pm) $9 Half session (2:30pm-5pm) $7
Kandle Pool is 5 feet deep at the deepest end. The pool features a gradual beach-like entry, so it’s easy for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the water.
No. The last open day for the pool was Sept 4. The rest of the park is still open.
