Needs work. Unfortunately a Tacoma icon has been left lacking, as it appears no significant reinvestment has been made since the last time before I started coming here again to work with a client - which was 20 years ago. The food inside looks fun & eclectic, smells great, but this can't hope to be Tacoma's Pike Place without a serious reno, an interior cleanup and actually accessible restrooms. The shop owners here don't get enough business to be onsite or don't care enough to consistently be open on days I'm stopping by lately, but I can't tell which it is. Where the railway has invested is at least better than before but a long way to go still yet.

Was there as a vendor for a small artist convention. Lots of open space and had tables to rent from the facility. Across the street to a free parking garage as well. From what I saw there are multiple levels and empty rooms so lots of space to play with for different kind of events

Come out and support small businesses here at the Freight House Square. I have eaten here a few times and it was good. There is only one thing and just me personally I won’t go to the restaurant called Wendy’s Tai. I don’t won’t to Shame them on social media.. I just hope they trained that person a much cleaner way of doing things. The stuff i witnessed was before Covid

Fun shops and shop keepers to browse and find gifts, fashion, antiques and other cool items. Also a great variety of food venders to choose from too! (The street tacos where delicious) I found this place by accident but happy I did!

Small business a few food and soveneer shops. Very relaxing
I'm not sure if the salon that specializes in African American hair is still there, ,but they are a very cultural place to shop. I have a lot of friends from all over the world, and have found freight house square the perfect place to find unique gifts especially at Christmas time.
Yes.
Safety measures are in place. St least they were on Saturday the 27th of March when I was there.
I don't know the New Year's schedule. Yes shops and food court are open.
Most of the shops also serve and/or sell food (candy, teas, etc.) so it's against health codes to bring in a pet. Some non-food shops might be willing. If it's not a service dog or necessary to bring with you, it's probably safer to not bring it.
Exit the West entrance, there you will find the trolley cl8mb aboard and follow the prompts
They just invested a bunch of money refurbishing it into a transit hub, so even if it was legal, they probably wouldn't want to.
You mean tour It? There's no tours but you can walk around it freely. Food court is nice
Freighthouse Square parking garage was free last time I was there, 1 week ago.
