My intuition tells me that there are options for the bedding count and styles for the River Rooms. Such a room probably is in great demand. ...calling the front desk maybe quicker than webbing-it... Typically, room rates can be negotiated down at the counter...should match advertised web site's discounts. Hotels.com Kayak ... ? Before hand, maybe join their membership for discount prices and their special reserved rooms for members... As standard, the Hyatt Properties are 5 star: polished. You can rent man-powered watercraft across the river, and West = Barton Springs Pool: North side of pool on creek. I am sure that you will have a nice time to recharge....sleep well... JC

I had a corner room, great view of the river and downtown. Patio, not available as I recall. Perfect location to get on the walking/ running/ biking trail.
