This place is very prone to flash flooding. When i was there just a couple of weeks ago I saw lots of cuts in the ground from the water pretty much everywhere. It was dry when we went but there was definitely signs that it floods when it rains.

Yes. I went there about a month ago and recent rains farther north caused this place tonbe a mud pit.
