About 10 min or so depending where your campsite is. It is a nice walk through and there seemed to be several places to swim along the river. Just make sure you bring all your stuff so you don't have to make several trips. There is supposed to be a good float too, not sure where to find info on that.
Yes! But it's worth it. We typically drive to the swimming area and if we're tubing, one person will ride a bike back to the vehicle at the swimming hole. It's not convenient, but it's really worth it!
The float is great. If you are with a group you can park one car at the end of the float so u don't have to walk
