Nice swimming area at the low water crossing bridge. This is also the start of the tubing route. At the exit of the tubing there's another nice /pretty shallow swimming area.

Yes! The river is swimmable, depending on flow. There were some deep spots at the first crossing, near the park entrance. Not sure about further downstream.
