I see thr sites are on the water. Is it good for swimming (humans amd dogs)? Is the water murky or does it get deep really fast?

When I had my stay there it didn't get deep fast, but the water is murky and I don't know how enjoyable it would be to swim in it

It does not get deep very fast. The water is very clean as it comes in and out of the Sebastian Inlet on each tide. We recommend sites 29 and 30 for the best beach

It depends on the wind direction and the tide. It's brackish water. Lots of campers swim there.

I guess it depends on where you are, site-wise, and when you are there. When my family was there it looked perfect for a boat launch but nowhere I would want to swim (I thought the barnacles were gross). Another site may not have that.

People do swim there. Only a short distance to the ocean beach. Dogs too. Water depends on the weather.

The water is really nice and I did swim in it.
