If you hike to the east side of the Preserve, which is not possible right now (25-Mar), you can see some wild flowers along the railroad tracks, but nothing spectacular, if I am recalling correctly. I'd go up into the Sierra's later in the Spring, or Mount Diablo now.
Not really any wildflowers other than poppies. The preserve stays true to the native plants that grow in the Sacramento Valley.
