Always best to call they do like reservations. They will try and accommodate for people but for larger groups it's a must.

Yes. They're pretty relaxed, but I'd hate for you to drive up that road only to find them not there. A simple call ahead should suffice, but they can't handle too many concurrent groups. Have fun!
