We were in Rockport for a week in mid-November 2017. Many restaurants, fast food places, gas stations and the Holiday Inn had repaired and reopened. Trees had begun regrowing leaves, but looked pitiful. Other businesses remained destroyed, with no sign of cleanup or repair. For the most part, Rockport was well on the way to recovery. Port Aransas, OTOH, was still an absolute mess, looking like Harvey had just hit a few weeks earlier.
I just went last weekend and it looks good. I didn't see any signs of damage from the hurricane, but it did take them all of the year to recover. The beach looks great and we've gone every year except that year which was 2018.
Jumping back on it's feet, just about back. Downtown was hit pretty bad. Oyster Bar is gone, PJ'S fresh fish is gone.
