Ordered the shrimp plate with shrimp gumbo and a baked potato. The restaurant was clean, the server was polite and the food was delicious. The gumbo was full of seafood goodies. The entree shrimp were huge and well seasoned. The baked potato was loaded. I know because I loaded it myself with cheddar cheese and sour cream. All and all a great meal in a nice Coastal Texas setting.

We had the shrimp and oyster platters and got shrimp gumbo and baked potatoes as sides. The gumbo was great but lukewarm. The shrimp was fresh and delicious as were the oysters. The baked potatoes were good too. The server was attentive and kept our drinks filled. Moderately priced and an easy relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Good service! Everything else was very poor. Stuffed Flounder and grilled seafood platter. The grilled shrimp were so tuff I used them to repair the hole in the sole of my shoe. There was some kind of fish. Way over cooked. WHY? Grilled platter with boiled cold shrimp. Boiled shrimp on a grilled seafood platter, another surprise. Tough and tasted OLD! Baked potato, well not much you can do to screw up a potato. Stuffed flounder tasty. The stuffing was interesting. Came with mixed soggy vegetables. Does anyone in the kitchen have a clue? Sorry we ate here.

If I could give this place no stars… I would… we ate there last night, spent $400 and only one who ate their food was a kid who ordered a kid hamburger…. None of the adults touched their food, it was absolute junk. Server was great and super sweet, she should be working at a 5-star restaurant not this place. When I mentioned to the manager when we left that the food was terrible, her response “no one has ever complained about our food….” She looked confused.. she probably wasn’t even the manager…. Absolute trash food, super unfortunate. Never again!

Roof damage into the resturant in the back part. You can go into to their facebook page, I asked in the Vistor posts and someone sent me a pic of the damage. This is going to take years for everything to go back to normal. I loved that place too! I'm from Port Lavaca an hour away from there.

They are open. The upper top has been repaired. They will take a credit card. Not cash only any more. Like after the hurricane. First come first served. Great food.
