Weekdays 30 minutes is okay. Weekends definitely earlier. Gives you extra time to visit the snack bar - pizza, corn dogs, sodas, popcorn... yummy.
I take my dogs, so I like to get there when the doors open, but I'd suggest 30 minutes before on weekends.
Hour early it's good. Both for a spot and to get comfortable.
If it's the weekend get there 30 mins before movie... side 2 is the best... new releases pack out so plan ahead and bring your own food!

The swap meet is open from 5 to 11 Saturday and Sunday. So I guess it's how long it takes you to set up

At least an hour to get a decent parking spot. I always have the kids and like to park close to the rest room.
