I thought this was a privately owned campground???? , if so then why call Colorado bend sp.??
It's called Sulphur Springs "Camp" & quite frankly is much better then that State Park for a list of reasons! Yes it's private property and it's after "Bend" a little blink and you will miss town, eatery with a little store (closed on Mondays) before the State Park (SP) & NO they don't have small tanks of propane for camping stoves yet the little store at Sulphur Springs did ;+) Check it out and you will see why it's a camp, private and much better then the State Park.
True Texan, Sulphur Springs Campground is not the same as Colorado Bend State Park. Sulphur Springs Campground is a private property “fishing camp” on the banks of the Colorado River with camping amenities and swimming holes. It is not affiliated with Texas Parks and Wildlife. However, Colorado Bend State Park is nearby— about 5 miles away.
Look on their website, it states
