Try both places get there early go to one spot don't like it go to the next spot. eventually you will find a good place to camp have to go and see for yourself
One is not better then the other, its hot and dry. Watch out for snakes. Yes they do have a designated swimming area, but u can also swim at own risk almost anywhere from the shore line. Dont forget ur sunscreen. Not that much shade
You cant go wrong in my opinion with either. Its Lake Camanche. Its beautiful and there is a swimming area. I reccomend you Enjoy yourself whatever you choose . Cheers!
I liked both. In my opinion, South shore trends to be a tiny bit rowdier
South shore has a few ponds that are great for fishing..with camping right by the water. I prefer south but thats just my opinion..

I like south shore it has more shade areas than north shore I'd you don't drink tbey have Riverview camp it has the most shade and if you camp during the week there sent many people
Yes south shore does have the night theater...its fun...try both and see which one you like best.
Well the south shore has a night theater great felt like the drive in but without sitting in the car. They sell popcorn most of the time it's free.
