Friendly, high quality service here. Yes, that is an oxymoron when talking about Post Offices they have their game on here. We drove 2 hours to this post office in order to get a rush passport (8 weeks to get an appointment in the Bay Area) and had a great experience with Lynn. She knows her passport stuff! This is the only post office in California that accepts walk-ins for passports. They expedite processing directly with the State Department in Philadelphia. If you need a passport fast, this is your place. They quote 2-4 weeks for “rush service” If you on in the Bay Area make an online appointment or drop in between 9a and 2p for walk-ins. Never thought a good experience was possible at a government anything but this is the exception!

They don't care they will send the mail back. Have had it happen to myself personally there is no direct number available to reach this branch and the 800 number is not helpful. I tried to go in personally and explain the situation but they did not care. UPDATE: FOR THOSE OF YOU INTERESTED IN CONTACTING VALLEY SPRINGS POST OFFICE THE DIRECT LINE IS (209)772-1560. NORMA STEWART IS THE SUPERVISOR FOR THAT BRANCH AND THE POSTMASTER IS SHELLEY HOLTEN.
