Planning to go swimming next weekend 6/18 with family, haven't been to Lake Whitney in years. Is the swimming and picnic areas open for day visits? I know there is a lot of construction going on. Website is vague, and phone(s) not working, Thank you.

The swim area (beach) is open, and also the picnic tables.

When we were there about 4 weekends ago, the "beach" and swimming area were open. Picnic tables were available in that area as well.
