Can a Crepe Myrtle from your farm be planted and grown successfully at this time of year? We lost a tree from wind and would like to replace with crepe but didn’t know if it would be better to wait till fall when it’s cooler. Kim

Crape Myrtles are very hardy trees and they can be planted any time of the year with a high survival rate. The key to success for any type of tree is to ensure the proper soil moisture level is being maintained after each watering and we will see lots of new growth and blooms as a result. Make sure to visit our website which will provide more information about how to complete the soil moisture tests and what soil consistency to look for between each watering.

I'm not sure though I think I read on the Treeland Nursery website that trees can be planted year round.
