From what I understand, the name "Yogi Bear" is a copyrighted character that requires royalty payments for usage of the name. So the owners dropped the Yogi Bear and renamed it a family name I believe. Always something to do with money
We were there only overnight. But, thought it was well maintained and nice. We walked the grounds. It was very pleasant. Great place to take kids. Lots of things to do. The little store there is sparse, so make sure you have what you need.
No, they lost Yogi because of the pig wrestling event they have had forever.
