Went there to close an account but at the advice of the banker decided to just take most of my money out and leave some in there just in case my USAA card doesn't work. I asked multiple times if I would accidentally incur any fees. I asked if there would be any banking fees since I don't use them as my primary bank anymore. I was told I would be fine. Next month rolls around and I see a 12$ fee, I called to see if I can get the money back since they told me this wouldn't happen. I was told by the manager that "We can't refund the money". All the manager could do was change my account so it wouldn't happen again. ( Something I could have done a month earlier). I decided to completely stop using wells fargo after this. The bank is an hour away from me and I was lucky to finally be able to close the account over the phone. No way was I going to waste more gas and time to just close an account. *Edited for spelling and grammatical errors. Also it's been two years since I put this review up and I still hate this bank. 2018* 2019 August Update* Just had the same issue with US Bank and I had about 30$ for 2 months of maintenance charges that was actually my fault because I forgot about it. And despite this, they WAIVED the charges and REFUNDED all my money! Unlike Wells Fargo, which will manipulate and lie to you. Still hate this bank. 2019 August Update #2. So, I emailed their customer service as requested (See comment from WF below). Yeah, for some reason I thought that they maybe would bribe me with 20$ just to take this review down. Because let’s face it, it’s not about the 12$ anymore. Lol however, all I got was more wasted time, as you’ll see below. After I sent the email, I was contacted by yet another customer service. They asked for my address and other information. But my emails kept getting blocked due to sensitive information. (Pretty ironic since it said at the bottom of their emails no account numbers or sensitive information.) I tried four times. Eventually I had to take a screenshot of my info and email it. They apologized and I get a call today, they had me re-confirm my details and then they asked if I had my account number. An account number from 5 years ago… I told them I’m sorry I don't. Then they asked me to go to a local branch. 🙃 I said nah. And that was that. This bank is a joke 🤡 🤡 🤡

Well, really I was going there to close my account, but once there I talked to the manager and was assured of saturations. I am a truck driver and IT'S hard to do the Banking hours like everyone else. My concern was put to rest and I feel confident that they really do Go to the exact efford to make sure you are satisfied. Thanks goes to their staffs for all their hard work.
