It is pretty cheap to camp.it is a great campground fo family..they have a part of the campground that is just for tents.you can rent cabins again it is a great place.
I'm pretty sure you'd have to buy the arm bands which doesn't make it worth it for a picnic. You should go a few minutes away to Madison Springs State Park for a picnic. Beautiful there.
They do have daily passes its not like a community park its a camp ground with a water park
We went in to look around. I think in order to picnic you would have to buy the armbands. I also do not think there is a "picnic" area.
