Yes. You need to get a day pass for each day you plan to be there. Definitely need to reserve a campsite if u plan to camp there. Highly recommend reserving your day pass as early as possible. Each time we've been there the staff was turning people away who did not already have a pass

My sister-in-law went in there Saturday and she had to have a reservation because all the daily spots were taken. So she reserved 2 spots and we spent the entire day, Sunday.
No appointment needed, but during busy times like spring break it is recommended to reserve online way in advance. Once the park reaches their capacity they will turn vehicles away at the entrance unless you have a reservation
No appointments needed. They have access passes for early morning till 1pm and once they reach a preset limit they start offering vacancy's for 5pm until 11pm. I drove up and waited in a line of 10 cars and reserved a spot for 5pm till 11pm
