My husband and I have been going since 2013. We have made so many friends with so many of our neighbors. The staff is always available and so helpful. We started going for one week but last year we were able to get a second spot so we had two weeks. First day our main ac went out and we were able to get exactly what we needed in San Antonio and upon returning with it we had a bobcat and two park workers helping us get it up on top. I canβt begin to tell you how much that meant to us. We will be going for two weeks from now on even if we do have two different spaces for each week!!β€οΈ

Wonderful place for a family camping trip. Has all the amenities you will need. Lots of space to play with the kids. Highly recommend.

Wonderful RV park nestled in the Texas Hill Country right by the Frio River and across from Gardner State Park. Clean showers and bathrooms. Well stocked convenience store. We had a pop up at the time, so we don't know about full hook ups at the sites. We did have electricity, and it seems to me that the sites did have connections for waste. We enjoyed our stay, staff made it easy to check in, and they even moved us to a better spot. π All around great experience for trailers.

Awesome experience! Love this place! We hiked, swam, swang on the rope, cooked out, and had a blast riding the paddle boats. $15 for an hour on the paddle boats. They have picnic tables, and BBQ pits. Come early to get a good spot. Will definitely be back again!

We are not day use. You can try magers crossing which is less than a mile down 350. They have day use for 30.00
Where we were #21 the river was right there. So I'd say very easy for dogs and kiddos.
Yes we have several that do and you can call us at 830-232-4006 and we can give you their information. Thank You.

Tent camping is not available at Parkview as it is an RV park.
Old Baldy trail is located on Garner State Park property. You must register with the State Park to access their property and use the hiking trails.
We do not rent campers here at the park but there are a few businesses around the area that do. Doug @ (830)232-4171 (year round), Joyce @ 830-232-5930 (year round), Diane @ 830-232-4653 (Spring Break & Summer months), Tiffany @ (830)333-1151 (year round), Hill Country RV @ (713)858-2617 (year round), Stacey @ (361)813-8918 (year round).
The water here at the park is up to 20 feet deep because we are behind the Garner dam, but I would not recommend any tubing either up or down river from here - a lot of walking. Our people are having a good time hanging out in our water hole - shady and cool.
