I recently visited for the first time. I had an amazing stay. The cabin was beautiful. The beds were old but I understand that management is working to get new beds into the cabins. Overall I had an awesome time. The river access was convenient. The river is low but from the other spots I visited, Camp Riverview had a good amount of water and there was still a small amount of flow. It was perfect for my two year old who enjoyed sitting in the shallow water and relaxing. All the staff were very nice and helpful. The grounds were very clean. I cannot wait to go back next summer.

I was nervous after reading a few of the reviews about the staff being hard to deal with but to my surprise everyone we talked to and worked with was a delight. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The camp site RV 11 was perfect and we really liked the space in each spot. We weren't on top of each other like we usually are with other places.

We spent Easter weekend here. The water isn't very high in most places but there is a nice little area where kids would jump off of. I loved that there were so many things to do like volley ball, paintball, laser tag, a playground, and even a dog park. The only camping experience I missed was no open fires so we cooked with a propane griddle and some had stoves in their RVs. Regardless we all had a great weekend.

We love Camp Riverview!! We have rented the one room cabin and the two room deluxe and have been very satisfied with both. The staff is friendly and helpful! The river access i perfect for little kids and teenagers.

There are cabins. The ones that I have stayed in have two bedrooms, a bathroom, common area, and small kitchenette. They can be reserved through the Camp Riverview website.
Water flow was very low but there are still some very good swimming holes there on-site at riverview. We were there about 2 weeks ago.
It is cold. But that feels nice on hot summer days. It is not as cold as the Guadalupe in New Braunfels.
Yes there is phone service, they also give u a code for wifi
Hi Isabel, we do not allow tents to be places outside of cabins. We have spaces that a designated as tent sites or mixed use sites that are suitable for tents.
Thank you for asking. We don't allow day use here on property but as you can see from other responses, there are options in the area. There is a day use place called The Gravel Bar at county road 348 and Seven Bluffs Crossing. There is another spot down on county road 127 by Neal's Lodges and a day use place at Mager's Crossing just about 1/2 mile from us. Also, Garner State Park is a great place to go for the day.
RV check in is anytime after 2 pm and check out is noon. If you need to arrive after the office is closed, there will be a packet for you and you can complete check in the following morning.
