Down the road there is a public swim type area. You can pay $20.00 per car for all day and be right on the river. Take a grill and grill out, swim or float. There are 2 rope swings.
No, they don't do day use. You can probably rent a campsite for $50 but check ins are around 2-3 so unless you don't mind going late and renting a campsite and leave that day you can do that.
