Was there 3 weeks ago. I never saw or seen yellow water. If you see yellow water,that is not normal.
The Frio River water is a greenish color due to minerals like any other river. The water is clean but not potable. No water is potable until it is purified. Despite how clean the water looks.

The water is really clear. Some of the green color actually comes from the river rocks. They are a green color.
When I was there. The water was clear.
I went these past week and the water is greenish but its due to minerals. Not potable
