Yes you can, if you have reservations. Go to your assigned spot. Go to office early next morning, to check in... i didnt get there until around 11:30 pm.... Found my spot and parked.... When i got up the next morning, there was already a park employee checking sites... I just had to go to the office to sign in.. The water is cold right now. If you're up to it, go hike up the hill/mountain.... Lots to see from the top.....
You need to call the office if you know you won't be able to make it by closing time. There may not be a way for you to go in. During peak seasons, you can be fined for not having proper proof of admittance or wristband.
