Sometimes they will say they are all booked but people cancel keep an eye on them
You may be able to get a spot if they have cancellations
Call the park for reservations. Since the summer months are usually booked solid you may not be able to get a spot/site. If you do consider getting the annual park pass. Our family stayed there recently and based on the amount of sites we needed (2) and days we were staying (4), the staff recommended the park pass which saved us money. We now have a park pass good for free day entry to any State Park. Good luck.
