Camping is year round, some sites require reservations ahead of time. Campfires are allowed in provided fire grates. Depending on the time of year and weather conditions, a burn ban may be in effect and therefore limit or eliminate this option. As far as alcohol allowability, I located the same on the website, which leads me to believe that it may be permitted in some areas and not others. "Platt Historic District Alcohol Closure Cold Springs Campground and the swimming and picnic areas east of U.S. 177 and along Travertine Creek are closed to Open Containers of Alcohol by the authority of the Superintendent's Compendium (36 CFR §1.5). This closure is in effect from May 1 through September 30 each year."
Camp - yes. Fire - yes. Beer- Over 21 - yes.
We camped there a week or so ago, in mid-April. We were able to have a fire then, but it's possible they're under a restriction now. As far as I know, alcohol is permitted on the site.
Do you have to reserve to camp at little Niagra?
