I stayed at campsite 69 and it backs up to a nice little stream that we were able to swim in!
The washita river is 7 to 8 miles west of recreation area near davis oklahoma. 4 miles south of davis is River Bottom camp and river float.
Beautiful place. Several small falls.
There is a cold spring fed stream that runs through the town of Sulphur. (Like jumping into a glass of ice water). Free to swim in. Beautiful area. There is also two lakes in the Sulphur area: Arbuckle and Veterans.
I think its basically a lake.
