You can book ahead (reservations) at all state parks.

Only little axe area has reservations. All the rest first come first serve.

If Thunderbird is booked you might checkout Wes Wadkins. I think I spelled that wrong. Anyway it's a very nice clean little lake with nice facilities.

Yrs and no. Yes you can but no on holiday weekends. Its first come first serve. You can go do get spot you want put a chair there after paying for as long as you want yhen leave. That what i had to dontold that by the camp.people running it
