No swimming but you can kayak in certain areas. Stop at the visitors center and they will give you a map with the information
I agree, call the Rangers. It's not really an ideal location for swimming. Because it's a wildlife refuge, you'll need to check to see if kayaks are allowed.
I suggest you call the park and speak to one of the Rangers. They are very helpful.
